LMH Armistice Day Service

Liverpool Masonic Hall has its own War Memorial and each year it holds an Armistice Day Service on the Friday before Remembrance Day.
The Mark Degree was represented at the service by WBro Steve Walls with his wife Jan and they were accompanied by WBro Derek Gaskell.
Rev Bro John Williams presided over the service. The Last Post heralded the Two Minute Silence. We all stood in front of the War Memorial in collective silence; each one lost in their own thoughts and prayers, remembering those who had given the ultimate sacrifice.

At the end of the silence Reveille was played. RW Bro Mark Matthews then laid the first Wreath and was followed by WBro Dave Johnson, the Liverpool Group Chairman, (Craft/Chapter).

WBro Derek Gaskell then laid the Wreath on behalf of the Mark Degree. When the laying of wreaths was complete, Rev Bro John Williams gave the blessing to end the service.
